The first month of the Islamic calendar. There were 8 special days in the Arabic month of Muharram that one needs to know as a Muslim. Ashura’s day is one of them. Ahrasura falls on the 10th day of Muharram. Ashura 2020 will begin on the evening of Saturday, August 29 and end on the evening of Sunday, August 30.
Both the 9th Muharram and the 10th Muharram days are celebrated by people of Muslim countries all over the world. In this post, I have shared my best favorite Ashura quotes, messages and poetry.
