15+ International Day for the Abolition of Slavery
15+ International Day for the Abolition of Slavery – The International Day for the Abolition of Slavery is celebrated every year on 2 December all over the world since 1986. The focus of this day is to raise awareness about slavery and to end all forms of slavery that exist in the present world. Such as trafficking in persons, sexual exploitation, the worst form of child labour, forced marriage and the forced recruitment of children for use in armed conflict.

According to the International Labor Organization (ILO), more than 40 million people worldwide are victims of modern slavery. And more than 150 million children are subject to child labour, which accounts for about one in ten children worldwide.
